Sorry about the long silence, there are no excuses good enough for why I haven’t kept you guys updated.

I have good news to share with you. Recently I received a tip from a friend who got me in contact with a proofreader. This will allow me to produce an even better text, and if all goes to plan The Book of Songs will be available for purchase at the beginning of next year.

If you have any questions you’re welcome to ask them in the comments. I’ll respond as quickly as I can.

Bouncing back

As some of you might’ve already seen, the Kickstarter wasn’t a success. But don’t worry, we have a Plan B.

The Book of Songs will definitely be released as an e-book, no matter what happens. It might take a bit longer to acquire the funds, but The Book of Songs will get an English edition. I hope to be able to make it a print on demand novel as well, but we’ll have to wait and see if that’ll be possible.

This post is mostly meant as an update so that no one is left wondering what’s going to happen with The Book of Songs and the rest of The Weaver Trilogy. If you have any questions you’re highly encouraged to send us a comment.

Thank you for all of your support this far!

Over 5000

In Swedish crowns at least. In USD it’s a bit over $500, I think (Google, what’s that?).

It’s only a week left until the end of the campaign, and even though I don’t want to be a pessimist, it looks like it will fail. But don’t worry, we already have a plan B!

But keep sharing the Kickstarter with your friends. There’s always a chance for success!

20 backers and 15%

May I repeat myself and say “Whoo!”? I think I’ll do it anyway.

I know we’re reaching this point a little late, especially if you consider that we only have around 10 days left of the campaign, but I’m still so happy that at least 20 people think my book is interesting enough to support its Kickstarter.

Please tell your friends about The Book of Songs and The Weaver Trilogy. It’s still possible to make this project a success!

Today I’m going to have a Kickstarter party at Unga Magasinet (a meeting place for young people) in Sundsvall. I’m already pretty nervous, but I’m willing to suffer in order to make this Kickstarter project a success!

(It’s not really that bad)

The party will begin with me welcoming everyone and giving a small introductory speech. Then it will be time for people to mingle and look at some illustrations based on The Book of Songs. You can find all the images on our Facebook page, but its always more enjoyable to see things in real life.

I’ll also have a tablet with me so that those who want can make their pledges right away. People tend to forget about these things if they have to wait until they get home.

Now I’m going to keep preparing for the party. Wish me luck!

100 likes on Facebook

As the title says, we’ve reached 100 likes on our Facebook page, which is great since we only launched it two weeks ago. I’m almost planning to celebrate it with cake, but I’m not sure if that’s an overreaction or not…

Please keep suggesting our page to your friends. The bigger audience we have, the greater the chance is that the English version of The Book of Songs and the rest of The Weaver Trilogy becomes a reality!

15 backers!

Wow! Great job you guys! 15 backers feels really amazing, especially since we had such a slow start with the Kickstarter project. We’ve managed to collect 3600 SEK (about $400) so far, which means that we still have a long way to go. But I know we can do it!

If you have any questions about the project, please feel free to ask. I’ll answer as quick as possible.
